My reasons for never playing Penn State have nothing to do with Sandusky. That Jack*** Paterno did everything he could to destroy Eastern football, so let Penn State rot.
None of the Eastern teams should play them.

Such as convincing Georgetown, St. John's and Villanova to vote against Penn State's membership in the Big East? Had the BE granted membership to Penn State in the '80s, I really think the landscape of Eastern football and buy extension, Midwestern football, would be different today.

PSU is a prestigious university that has a scandal-plagued football program with cult-like followers. Liberty is an institution basically founded by a cult in order to further propagate itself. I think it's reasonable to be disgusted by both, and for different reasons.

One school I would have no issue my kids going to, the other wouldn't pay a dime. PSU is a damn big place, really good school and Sandusky/ Paterno are long gone. That's just me

I know people that have gone to Liberty, including a hs classmate and former student-athletes. I also know faculty that have worked there. I have zero qualms about calling that institution the face of a cult.
