But damn, I guess I always felt like 32-2 would feel a lot better than this. The entire program is under siege from all directions. The integrity of the entire university, athletic department, staff, etc is being attacked both in and out of courts of law. Players are being suspended, our seeding and the credibility of our team is being questioned. The NCAA is investigating us for at least two things and maybe more. The Secretary of Education thinks we should be banned from sporting events. We almost made history by losing to a 16 seed today. CBS has spent more air time falsely dissecting how we got the win handed to us by the refs than they did on the Cuban missile crisis.

If this is the top of the mountain, I'm not sure it's as fun as I thought it would be.

The one thing I'll say is that you're never as bad as your worst performance, and never as good as your best.

Today was flat out awful. The question is, will we step up and play better, or are we going to lay another egg? Because if it's the latter, we're going home early. And if its the former, then I wouldn't be surprised to see us handle KSU and possibly Wisconsin, both better matchups for us.
