I became a Syracuse football fan way back when Floyd Little played for them. Man, he was something to watch. Stayed a fan all the way up to the McNabb era. However, have fallen off somewhat due to their mediocre performance in the last fifteen years. I will watch their games if televised here, but do not get as excited as I do for Orange hoops. That's just the way I am which will be different than others obviously.

That's interesting considering there were some pretty mediocre years from about 1972 through to about 1984.

Well I love the Yankees and Giants amy college team plays Clemson Saturday so that pretty much saysit all for the moment. Bring on the hoops asap.couchburn

In response to some of you, I will say I enjoy watching Syracuse Lacrosse as well. They have more National Titles than anybody else and always seem to have a competitive team, much like Basketball. I watch those games when they are broadcast. Also, they usually have a number of fellow Canucks on the team which always intrigues me.

Don't get me wrong please, I do watch the SU Football games when available and I certainly don't cheer for the opposing team. Over the past 15 years I just don't get as excited with their Football program as I do Hoops.

I have zero interest in lacross. I just don't understand it I guess. I watch as many SU fball games as I can and if I lived on the area I'm sure I's go to at least 4 games a season because I like going to football games.
