I really like this team. I know it's been slow rebuilding and we still have quite a ways to go, but I like the direction that Coach M has our team headed. Of course if I am wrong and we are not 5-2 or at least 4-3 headed into the USF game I may have to reavaluate my assessment. I watched the Rutgirls v USF game and based on the way both teams played, I think we can beat them both. I know we are 0-2, but I have a positive attitude toward how our season will end. Give me your thoughts on where we will be heading into the USF game.

I can see us getting to six straight wins as well, but based on how USF has played us in recent years I wanted to reevaluate our team and see how USF is playing their next games as well before I gave us that win. I like your prognostication of six.

Now THAT is what I call optimism! I won't go Tristy on you, and say we don't win 'til Christmas, even winning the next 5 will be tough. Punting - both units - is a glaring problem right now. They simply have to clean it up in a hurry, before looking past even SB.

Hey I wouldve picked a bigger number but I'm not sure who we open against next year or what we'll look like at qb.

We've played 2 of the top 4 teams on our schedule this year. Our defense won't see another USC this year and after playing them the rest of our opponents will look a step slower.

IF we ever put 4 quarters together we will be tough for anyone. I'd settle for 3 solid quarters in a given game and think we'd be in good shape for W's. This year so far we've seen the team play well for about 2 1/2 quarters per game which is better than the 1-1 1/2 per game we looked adequate last year.

The next few games will tell me what our coaches are made of. Hoping for a convincing win against a good Stony Brook team today and watching a snowball effect that follows.
