this weekend to Akron or Toledo, I actually thought they were a threat legit this year to win their division

Bowden has Akron on the move. MAC football has some good players.

Edit: This is not a defense of Pitt losing to them though.

They didn't put losing a 10 point lead to Iowa at home behind them and didn't respect Akron. But , not to worry , they will be ready when the Cuse goes out there.

Blueprint is out: average on D, stop the run. Good chance to win.

It irks the living hell out of me that we lost to pitt last year. We had the game in our grasp--that transfer, Savage, got the hell beat out of him, and stood in the pocket and hit some important throws. This close...

Agreed...but it all worked out in the end. Winning the Texas Bowl against Minnehaha was awesome. Surely, you must agreed when you get a nodding respect from the Gopher fan on Saturday morning at Menards.

Pitt is a huge match up team and depending on who they play and that's teams strengths and weaknesses, they seem to do this so much more than other teams. I know this is for all teams but it just seems that Pitt really fits that mold so much more than others.
