I stayed away for a couple of days

and as I could have guessed ...every coach every player, every beer vendor, every band member now sucks and has no clue what they are doing. I'm as frustrated with the string of mental and physical mistakes as anybody...but give me a break.

I find coming to the board after a loss to be therapeutic. You get to vent, but then you read the other stuff, and suddenly feel a lot better about yourself.

Best way to not feel crazy is to surround yourself with crazy people.

That's amazing. That's almost the same exact reason I come to the board after a loss. That's a whole other level of crazy.

I just wish they'd post after a win or throughout the week, and offseason. It's like a bunch of out of towners showing up at your favorite bar to get drunk and make over the top statements.

That's a fact and there are 4-5 like that.

The Maryland game is over. I take a couple of semi-optimistic things out of it. The offense played pretty good, which I qualify with the belief that Maryland's D isn't very good. Our defense was decent in the second half, with the thought in the back of my mind that Maryland had a solid lead and really cared more about running clock.

Emotionally I approach the ND game expecting that they will roll us. If they don't I'm a happy man. If they do I'm prepared for it.

They weren't better, they were better on 3 plays that happened to be the difference in the game.
When I was responding to Pyle, I was acknowledging his point that they were better at the positions he mentioned. You're right though. You don't outgain a team by 200 yards if they're better across the board for a whole game.
