guards are currenty playing the best at the end of games. I love Brandon as much as anyone, but I trust JBs evaluation more than any poster.

Doesnt matter how Brandon plays.. he's not going to see the court for the last 12 mins of the game against top foes. Thats already been decided.

Sorry, I don't think JB has decided anything of the sort. He's going to ride the hot hand and/or go with his gut, and who of the three is in at the end will vary game to game, as it has all season.

silly thread. depends on the game.
Really. Have we learned nothing from this season, or any of the others anyone has watched?

This exact thread has occurred many times this year with the names of guards used interchangeably.

Remember the "Scoop should get used to being a cheerleader at the end of games" threads after the NYC games earlier in the year.

All depends on the game and who is playing well. Each guard has had huge parts and been the reason we have won games this year.

Brandon just needs to worry about making shots and defense. I think JB is doing the right thing with his minutes. Brandon can't get around anybody these days. SU plays well when the guards can penetrate and create for themselves or others.

The backcourt has become the Scoop and Dion show in meaningful late minutes. Get with the times or get left behind. Brandon's time will come next year.

This came up after the last game, but I noticed Brandon rubbing his right leg on the bench, as Hop seemed to be discussing it with him. Didn't appear serious, but maybe he's nursing some nagging pulled muscle or something.

I have a theory on this. It goes like this: Boeheim knows who his best players are, and he plays them.

What about the courtside theatrics Mase? Pandering to a certain subset of players? Certainly a fan of your caliber can certainly see things like that Rak's problems staying on the court are a result of KJo's lack of D...

I am in the middle on this debate. Dion and Scoop are clearly the default last ten minutes of the game guards, but that doesn't mean that Brandon can't get in the mix if he shows well in a particular game.

It's situational but even though everyone is focusing on offense, I'm sure Defensive matchups Play into it as well. You can also throw in the fact that Waiters and Jardine got 6 rebounds and Brandon got zip...JB has been hammering home the point that the guards have to hit the glass better

Wow, can you drop us any other nuggets from the locker room or coaches offices?
