They're currently getting SMOKED by Vandy, down 31-6...yes, that's 31 to SIX.

Keep playing bad for a week or so, Marquette. Keep it up.

A couple weeks ago people were talking about the cuse-marquette game being a battle of 2 undefeated teams. Uhhhhhh not quite. I had the marquette game as our 1 dome loss this year, think im gonna change it to west virginia.

Biggest difference between Cuse and Marq...

Here it is: DJO and Crowder are a combined 1/12 and are getting killed. We have seen KJo and Scoop/Triche have bad games...but we still win. Our depth is real...Mar has perceived depth. Sure, any program can play their 8th, 9th, 10th guys...but none contribute like ours.

I don't think we've ever lost to WVU in the Dome...and I don't think we're going to start this year.

We will not lose at home this year, IMHO

Just like 2002-2003

These holiday games are tough. Florida and Marquette. Two very good teams going to lose tonight. We really weren't that good last night either on the offensive end, but fortunately we were great on defense.

There's plenty of time for Marquette to make a comeback, but holy sheista, I never expected this kind of shellacking

We are not losing at home this year. Marquette is vastly overrated. They got lucky in the ncaas last year. We will roll them much like we did the hall.

I expect some serious effort given by our guys against Marq. They remembered the SHU beatdown, they sure as will remember what Marq did to them last year.

Marquette keeps launching 3s. They had a series of stops on D, and they kept launching 3s even though they are stone cold. Now Vandy is scoring again.

Holy Crap... Florida loses to Rutgers??????? and now Marquette looks like s*** against Vandy?? Wow

I always think we're going undefeated at home, and it never happens, except for 2003. I think the only way we lose at home this year is if we overlook an opponent. Even if we overlook a bad team we'll beat them, and we'll definitely be up for the big boys (pitt, gtown, lville, uconn). Marquette we'll have revenge on our minds so we'll be up for them, that leaves west virginia. Not a bad team, not a great team, but a team i can see us overlooking a little bit and theyre good enough to beat us. So i got 15-3 losing at lville at uconn and home to wvu.

We lost to them at home by 22 in that miserable 96-97 season, but your general point is right, we dominate them in the Dome.

The Vandy game isnt necessarily surprising. Marq has no big with Otule out. Vandy went from top 15 to unranked and the fact that Ezeli was suspended for the first 7(?) games had something to do with their downfall. On top of the suspension, he is injured and according to his coach, he is playing at 75% tonight. He is very good.

Marq is the type of team this year that will try to shoot over our zone. DJO and Crowder can get hot. When they hit, they are very good...but I def am not a fan of teams that live exclusively by the jumper. Keep in mind that we always get burned by jump shooting team that get hot against us (DePaul...Seton Hall...UL). It happens to us. Just does. If they lose tonight, it really doesnt mean anything. Every game is an independent event. Oh...Otule will likely be back when we play them. I admit that he isnt that good...but he is better than Gardner. He's taller and moves better. The plus is that there is no way he will be 100% when we tip-off.
