It's funny. We just moved to a new neighborhood about 7 miles outside of Downtown San Diego and the BBQ that everyone swears by is incredible is only open Fri-Sun from 10am to 3pm and they sell out every weekend. We haven't been yet because I just don't have the taste for it that early.
