Our fans are resilient. Sitting at the game last night, I was proud to be a Syracuse fan. We had a good crowd, and we were loud.

Most teams who put up with a decade of mediocre football could not produce a crowd like last night.

If we could string together a few good seasons in a row, we could prove to the nation that we are behind the football program.

The fans have been good this year and on top of that it seems like the majority of the fans are getting "smarter" when it comes to football. They know when Syracuse is playing poorly and to blame them and not blame the refs for every little call when things aren't going the Orange's way. They have been quiet when SU is on offense and loud when they are on defense (something the fan base hasn't ever really understood here at SU). I truly have been impressed with the fan-base at the Dome this year for games.

Great post. SU fans are excellent.
But according to some on this board if Dino leaves its because our fan base isnt filling the Dome. SU fans are great. Its a shame the team and staff has failed so miserably this year as there was such an opportunity to build momentum.
