I'm going to snap. You use the 1st quarter to see what the defense is trying to do. Clearly, very clearly, they had the draw to Gulley sniffed out. Yet, they continue to run that garbage the whole game. Just when we get momentum going, a draw to Gulley or AAM. This using a 2nd string oline for half the game.

Not for anything, we need to hire someone who knows how to coach an offense.

If I was one of our defensive players, I would lose my shitt.

what plays would you have called. we had so many kids playing hurt on the oline, it was guess work as to what play would get blocked

Quick slants for starters. Further, if we're sticking to running the ball, get Long over center.

long struggles with anything over the middle. too short and misses the reads. the only throws he made were the deep fade double moves and some roll out throws. he made poor decisions but also had very little time.

I got no problem with the draw play...just run it with AAM!! He is the best RB we have and we don't use him enough.

Get AAM on the field more often. It's a crime he plays so little

Today, the draw was not working. Therefore, get away from it.

And I agree with you about AAM. He moves piles versus Gulley who usually goes down after first contact.

It seemed like they tended to run AAM e/w while they ran Gulley n/s - didn't make sense to me.

Use the quick passing game as a substitute for the run game in order to make the will or the nickel get the hell out of the box. That's what the H-back is for.
