would we have heard something by now. And i still say.TA hell with anyone whom thinks he should be fired.

It took Penn St a few days to fire JoePa and they did it in the middle of the night.

This thing is fluid, don't think anyone is out of the woods yet. I'm still not sure JB is coaching tomorrow night. He may be told to take the night off at the last minute. Until the school decides what they will do.

I really don't understand why he should be fired, he was using the facts presented to him and he got the victim to step back from accussing JB of seeing him on his bed. He might've exaggerated a bit by saying "a thousand lies" but who doesn't exaggerate a bit.

Time to take a T.O. baby, lol!

He is a representative of the university and he put the university is a very bad light on a national stage. Very insensitive remarks. The position he holds has great power and has great responsibility, he wasn't responsible in his words and actions.

Even if JB is fired, I can't imagine the whole coaching staff will go too. Even at PSU, the whole staff wasn't ousted. An assistant took over as interim head coach. Assuming JB didn't now (who really knows), then the PSU situation is more dire. JB just says stuff he shouldn't and he should know better. But I would think Hop, Autry, and GMac stay, unless a new coach is brought in with his own staff.

If they do that, the school will have effectively decided. And they will have found an even more chicken sheet way to fire a guy than Penn State. I have faith in Cantor to handle this well...your suggestion would be about as poor as you can get.

Agreed nobody is out of the woods...but if JB isn't coaching tomorrow night I would be stunned.

Give me a break -- put the university in a negative light... H stood up for his friend of 50 yrs at the time there were no new facts to a case dismissed years ago. If JB is fired, say bye bye to me watching and supporting Cuse. Enough with the politically correct bs... fine was wrong... fine is the scum... so is his iwfe it seems. JB supported a friend in the early going, just as I would for a friend, and I'd hope of a friend.

100% agree. And good luck trying to convince Stern. He is hung up on the insensitivity of it all. He is so PC I think he may actually be Cantor

Would be interesting to see how the crowd would react to that huh?

I think JB would have said the same thing if Quenton Hillsman, for example, was the accused here. I don't know if the "50 years" thing was the issue or just that when you get JB off script he becomes a loose cannon.

IF these accusations are true...I'd rather not put money towards a program that supports a HC who publicly shunned victims of child abuse/molestation. Doesn't matter how many basketball games they had won prior.

That being said - these accusations have not yet been proven...so I still support JB.

Despite being accused of having an agenda I still love JB and hope he had no reason to know about anything that may have been going on. With that said, his remarks, which were possibly made in direct violation of marching orders from the university, could certainly be enough to get him fired. The thing is, the comments were so reckless I won't really be mad if he gets fired. He could have so easily avoided going off the cuff in a room full of reporters. In this day and age that was either stupidity or hubris.
