Price has the reps but there are some very talented RB's on this team. Who gets the call in the fall if this suspension stays?

With a new WR recruit named Quint Allan as one of the five.

Allen L. Quint

If the worst happens for Allen:

Price opens season as starter, and it's his to lose.

Hawkins becomes the backup.

Daniels gets accelerated into readiness, to see if he can produce a la Tucker.

Parkman / Escobar get spot duty.

Super happy that Daniels and Parkman were here in the spring, that helps a lot.
I question if Parkman is physically ready, I think Ike is more stout. Either way both of them should not be touching the field much this year in a perfect world unless one of them shows tuck like freshman abilities which is rare

Not optimal but I think freshman RB can play immediately. Not too hard to see the field early for a RB IF they learn the plays and can get blocking assignments down. Just last year as a freshman Lequint got 3 caries the first game and 7 the second. But that is if they are physically ready and both are a bit more slight than optimal. But I think you'll see at least one playing this year and I'd guess it’s Ike.

But I would think the JUCO is going to get a fair amount of action. Got to get him learning that playbook.

Do we think of slotting Peña in for 5-10 Carrie’s a game? He is versatile.

the better the oline looks the less need the RB needs to be elite and not just functional.
at best we'll have a serviceable line. we need RB1 to be very good.

We need Allen. Period.

Doesn’t matter who is named.

Garrett Shrader is going to be doing more running, putting himself in harm’s way, raising the chances of a season-ending injury.
Put it over a loud speaker.

Poor RB and OL depth brings us right back to Dungey and Shrader hero ball.

from what we have seen so far. Allen in the passing game is more important than Allen in the running game, He may be really good at both, but until you see a real work load and not just plays in space we wont really know how he will do and hold up.

The Juco can catch the ball. He is about Tucks size and is a one cut back. He is going to play regardless of LA being on the team or not

Many of the DBs, safety’s have played RB in HS coukd convert and would not rule out a top notch grad transfer who wants the ball. Hope LA gets cleared to play penalty seems very harsh
