If JB was "retired" as a result of this, I doubt Hopkins sticks around. He'll have other opportunities, and this will have gone from a great job to a lousy one. I think if things get so bad JB is done...so is the program. For a long, long, long time.

Disagree - Cantor puts out a press release and states that there will be no further public comment by University employees at this time. Gotta at least let the investigation conclude before you start commenting on it with any certainty...what we have now doesn't look good, but it's as bizarre and with unanswered questions as it is damning.

Please remember that JB and BF were friends for like 30 years! I would stand up for somebody I knew that long as well if I didn't know what was going on and I do believe that JB was bamboozled and is probably very pissed off right now!! I don't believe that anything will happen to JB altho he will be wearing egg on his face for a while like all of us will as well.

I think it was mentioned that Hop shared an apt with Davis. I think he will also be gone as well as anyone else that was around Davis at the time. This new revelation will not be a program killer but I think for sure, due to public reaction, there will be a major house cleaning starting at the top. Not good for SU in any way.
