I would still only have us at about a field goal underdog. The reason today exasperates me so much is because I think we very well could have won if it weren't for every critical juncture in the game going against us (blocked punt, pick 6, penalties on TDs, missed chip shot FG, etc. etc.) whereas Maryland played essentially flawless football.

I completely acknowledge that part of being a good team is not making those types of horrible mistakes, but I just think today was as bad of a comedy of errors as humanly possible.

Those comedy of errors seem to happen more games than not.
 
Our team has zero margin for error against teams with equal or superior talent. Yet, we constantly make mistakes and seem to always be on the same side of these stupid mistakes.

For the record I knew we screwed when I saw the ref was the Fing ref the 2012 SU-Cincinnati game. I hate that white hat ref and would punch him in the face if I could.

I hear you. We had 358 yards on the ground - to have that kind of stat and get beat soundly is just a mind-bogglingly bizarre stat.
