The Rutgers guy should be at the front of the line. What the hell was that? He ran three different times on 3rd and long. Their run game gained about 1.5 yards per carry and they run on 3rd and 8.
They won, didn't they?
Oh yah. They won. Put this guy in charge of the Oregon offense. Are you kidding me?
I'm sure it was Flood's call to kill the clock the entire 4th quarter. They know our offense blows. Didn't want their 19 year old QB doing anything stupid. Too conservative for my taste, but nothing to do with their OC (whoever he is).
Yes.3rd and long when you're trying to hold the ball and win the game and !!!3!!!! times you run the ball against a line you can't budge and that has nothing to do with their OC? You agree with that?
Yes.
For 2 reasons.
1. They won
2. You disagree with it, so it must've been the smart move
They just ran the ball because they knew our pop warner offense wouldnt put points up on the board. No need to move the ball when Nassib will simply turn it right back ov er to you deep in our own territory.
Oh, so they didn't want to hold onto the ball. My mistake. Actually, this guy is extremely inventive.
They had a two possession lead and offense couldnt score what did you think they were going to do, air it out? Come on man.
So their guy is as bad as ours.
Hooray! I feel better.
It's amazing that people are missing Dcuse's point. Their offensive gameplan was terrible against a sh!tty team. They should have scored 30. Who cares if they won? Some of you used the same argument when we've beat crappy teams; you said "who cares if we barely won, we should have beat Stony Brook by more". Well duh, the same logic applies this week.
I'm sorry but you miss my point. That team couldn't score thirty points on Fowler.Dude,we don't have a sh!tty defense,we have a good defense. My point is,on third and long when you have ZERO run game, you might want to try and complete a 7 or 8 yard pass to keep the clock moving and thereby increase your chances of holding your lead. This Rutgers team has the worst offense we've seen this year including Stony Brook.
