the defensive, combative you're invading my territory guy "you really think you're better than boys, bet you are one of those les?? feminists"  
the scared, insecure hidden by bravado guy "I don't need to play you to know I'm better " 
the "your ball is smaller than my ball" guy who's obsessed that girls play with a smaller ball(a rule changed when the NCAA and guys took over the womens' game)
and the worst, the "I'll let you win" guy who doesn't even try to play in a game but just wants to get it over so he can "really" play someone he wants to.
