just wait til next year, cause if Rak makes his improvements, then whether Fab stays or bolts, we are looking at an intense battle for playing time at the 3.

Wonder if Grant will get the Cooney treatment

I think that will completely depend on Mr. Christmas. I do not think he is that far away, and if I am right, then PF and C will be more than full. If so, I think Grant gets the RS treatment because we don't need 3 SFs.

With the way our team would be configured next year regardless of who goes pro or doesnt, I am starting to lean towards starting Southerland at the 3 with Fair off the bench as the 3/4 back up.

I agree. It isn't a slam dunk though, because you have the great dilemma, does JB like the added size and length in the starting lineup, or the firepower off the bench???? Granted, a lot more goes into it, but JS doesn't get nearly as much love as CJ does on the board, and just figured I would draw a little attention to the fact that it will be a battle.

But you're also bringing Cooney in off the bench as a shooter so perhaps with Cooney and Southerland it would be a bit redundant and Southerlands role would be better utilized starting.

With the 2 bigs at the 4 and 5 we need the better shooter on the floor for spacing or teams with just pack it in on us.

it is not just the board, CJ is second in minutes on this team

That will happen when your best big man has to stand like a statue and not breath in order to not be in foul trouble.

Been happening alot lately with Fab. I dont get why Fair gets all these minutes anyway and why Rak cant get like 5 minutes in a blowout in the second half in Philly...

If everyone stays our starting lineup could be:
Dion-BT-Southerland-Rak-Fab
Bench:
MCW-Cooney-Fair-DC2-Keita
Grant-Mookie

Holy &^%$

For me, I'd flip Keita and DC2... AND, this one is tough, but I MIGHT switch BT and MCW. MCW is going to be the best passer, so I want him playing the most minutes. Dion and BT are more guys that can score in a hurry, but you can only start one. I don't think it will be a problem though, because Dion is bye-bye.
