UB will be playing Ohio at 8 pm. It will be nationally televised on ESPN2. Obviously I'm posting this here because I attend UB and will be at the game.

It should be a both game, and will be the battle for the MAC East. Both teams are bowl eligible. Buffalo has, I believe, a 5 game home win streak, as well as a 6 game win streak in general.

Top 10 draft prospect Khalil Mack will be playing.

Should be interesting and will prove a nice gauge to see just how good UB actually is.

Was wondering how was possible for a program like UB to have a winning record this season.

Their schedule is quite remarkable. How is it possible so many MAC schools could have such terrible records?

UConn 0-7
Eastern Michigan 1-8
Western Michigan 1-8
Kent State 2-8
UMass 1-6
Stony Brook 3-5
and they still have to play Miami (OH), who is 0-8.

If you watched, I don't know whether you did or not, the Ohio State game... I think you'd have little reason to think this team would end up with less than 6 wins total and be bowl eligible.

UB has arguably the best linebacker in college football.

We have a beastly front 7.
Our running back, Brandon Oliver is finally 100% healthy which he hasn't been since his rampage of a Sophomore season 2 years ago.

And we have a solid young quarterback.

The only time UB looked anything less than a solid team this year was against Baylor... but then how would you really expect a MAC school to fail against arguably the #1 offense in NCAAF

Nothing says you've made it like a Tuesday night game.

It's a nice night to have a few drinks than head to the game. Just thought as a site of mainly NY'ers...this may interest some people?

Listen, I'm not trying to put this thread in the direction that all the others have gone.

If you don't like UB, don't want to watch this game or for w.e. other reason aren't interested... be respectful at least or don't post.

Wear Orange tonight or don't come back ;-)

Seriously have fun...good luck as UB seems to be clicking under Licata.

Aren't you on the wrong board?

Starting to ask myself if I was. I was looking for a Syracuse University sports forum with mature, intelligent, sport loving users.

I'm not pushing this game on you. I assumed that maybe some of you are just all around football fans. Thought perhaps if nothing else was going on tonight, some of you would be interested in watching the UB game.

There's also other UB alumni on this site, and people who live in Buffalo.

I really don't get the animosity on this board. Would it be the same if I offered viewing a Cornell or Colgate game? Sheesh.

If you don't want to watch, don't watch.

Trueblue...folks are yanking your chain.

But from a Syracuse POV a weak Buffalo is good for us. I like UB at the MAC Level and around .500%

Recruiting is a zero sum game

I'd question any athlete that'd choose UB football or basketball for anything other than family reasons.

UB is a ways off, to put it lightly, from challenging regional powerhouses like Pitt, PSU, SU etc. for recruits.

We need a few more 6 win seasons to even challenge ;)

I started my own thread already, but if someone could PM me a watchespn login so I can watch the ub game tonight I would really appreciate it.

There are enough good records in the conference to balance out the bad ones. Looks like almost all the teams in the conference have either 2 or 3 losses, or 7 or 8 losses. Most MAC schools will schedule a couple of losses against BCS teams in payout games. Then it's just a coincidence in the schedule that the cross-divisional games have pitted the good teams on one side against the bad ones from the other. Same with the initial batch of divisional games, but that will even out once everyone plays everyone.

He's a first round pick but not sure he's better than Mosley or Barr.

Nothing like some good 'ol weekday MACtion and AACtion to tide us over until basketball!

Yet another reason why we need an entrance exam to post on here.

Buffalo played an awesome game against the Buckeyes. I watched a lot of that game and seeing is believing, there is a TON of fight in that team. Don't know if the Orange would have fared that well ... and I pick us to win pretty much every weekend (even if I don't admit it until kickoff.)

That said, the game against Ohio has been a snoozer. Tuesday night is great for UB, they are trying to follow Louisville's model of mid week games and success & I wish them luck. Hope our AD is paying attention (hint: doubt it.)

Make the font only visible through your Orange glasses.

So did Buffalo St win?
