If you're in the mood for some football tonight...

So did Buffalo St win?

I bet Marrone never thought he was getting himself into this mess.

I really don't get the animosity on this board. Would it be the same if I offered viewing a Cornell or Colgate game? Sheesh.

People have good memories around here. I don't quite understand why you're so shocked people give you a hard time after some of the dopey stuff you've posted about UB in the past.

Not agreeing with this...

but you guys are immature enough to take it further? Spare me.

I watched a bit of the game but was able to see probably the worst call in the history of the sport.

Video Evidence below:

Even sitting in the stadium on the 50 yard line on the other side of the field it was clear Tettleton wasn't in the end zone.

That one tops even the wide left extra point against Toledo.

Oh and where are all the people who said Branden Oliver sucks? 34-249-2. He has 928 yards and nine TDs in his last five games.

Thank god the game was not decided by 2 points..

BO's a god damn beast, unfortunately he's not 2 or 3 inches taller =/

Impressive, but in all fairness:

-Rush Defense-
Eastern Michigan - #122 (265.0 ypg)
Western Michigan - #117 (243.3 ypg)
Massachusetts - #116 (241.2 ypg)
Kent St. - #111 (220.5 ypg)
Ohio - #67 (165.6 ypg)

249 yards against Ohio is clearly impressive though.

Congrats, My brother is a UB grad so I root for them. We dont often battle them for recruits so there is not much reason for the animosity here IMO

Khalil MAck recorded another sack and forced fumble I'm pretty sure..

Neutz still looks great

It would be awesome if UB and SU could somehow meet in a bowl game. I honestly would pick UB the way they're playing right now.

Good win for UB. It will be interesting to see how they close out their season.

Yeah, SU is really tearing it up right now. How could I possibly think any team would have a chance against them?

Who has Buffalo ever beat that was any good? Have they ever beat a P5 team since they brought FB back?

They looked great last night versus a weaker than usual Ohio team meh....

I'm not arguing for either side in this.

Just saying that UB is a very young program with a high ceiling. The fact that they seem to be putting things together and progressing with there own level of competition is nothing but encouraging. Just like Syracuse in the ACC. We must take care of teams we should beat first, ...Wake, NC St, Pitt, BC etc. before worrying about the Techs, FSU's and Clemsons.

UB's is finally consistently doing well in the MAC, even last year with an injured BO.

Maybe in 4 or 5 years UB can start competing with lower level BCS teams.

UB needs to win the MAC championship first though. That NI team is nuts.

Wow. Sagarin says buffalo would open as 1.5 point favorite on neutral field. Dang

Both teams have there strengths and weakness. I haven't given thought to which of the two teams are better. But if they are equal, perhaps a player like Khalil Mack would be a game changer. Then you could argue that Jay Bromley or Jerome would be impact players.
