Ill say it

If we lose out and Dino is back what it tells me is Syracuse isn’t really interested in running a successful football program.

If that happens you will start to see fewer and fewer fans at the games next year. I know we are down to the bare bones of just "die-hards" currently but they will start to dwindle away in time.

There you go and that is why ACC refs officiated the game that way.
There are Northern teams in the ACC, yet I have yet to hear an ACC official who doesn't have a southern accent.

Well, yes.. that would be because Dabo is a good coach and Dino is not.

Dabo is psychotically positive. It just exacerbates the fact we have Eeyore on our sideline.
I had the same complaint about Marrone.

May I ask what do the analytics say about a head college football coach who has had one winning season in six years and is consistently at the bottom of the recruiting ratings every year?

I don’t think these guys are dumb. I think they are grossly unprepared. The sloppiness and lack of attention to detail is palpable. But I don’t think they’re dumb

Eh not sure I agree with psychotically positive. He was going nuts yesterday. One is passionate. The other appears dispassionate

i just watched the replay and what really struck me was the contrasting energy and demeanor of dabo and dino on the sidelines. one coach is fired up and the other looks like he rather be anywhere else.
He's thinking about his Dentist appointments he had on Saturday. He sure looks the part with his cute white smock

This arguement really bothers me. Being competitive in losses is a year 1 and 2 standard / metric. Its not a reasonable standard for year 6. In year 6 we have quantitative things to look at, and his overall record, P5 record, recruiting class rankings and everything else say hes not working out
I couldn't agree more - especially since teams have long figured out the SU game and situational playbook. Despite mediocre recruiting, it's the implementation of a winnable scheme that allows players to flourish - better players will excel. It's amazing that SU can't find a QB but worse is the lack of a FB identity - not truly a run & grind but quick fluff and pastry plays. Lastly, there is the complete lack of adjustments (offensively or defensively) or proactive game play
Another year of Barber appears more likely given the thin available coaching pool - although I would be interested in the coach from Liberty, Appalachian State or BYU.....
