49. Megan Carney, A, Syracuse​

An Honorable Mention All-America candidate in 2022, Carney has battled injuries the past two seasons. When healthy, the righty crease attacker has been lethal for Syracuse.

35. Kate Mashewske, Dr., Syracuse​

The second-team ILWomen All-American was sixth in the nation in draw controls per game (8.48). She’s a gamer, with 11 draw controls vs. BC, 13 in the NCAA Tournament vs. Syracuse (a ‘Cuse NCAA record) and 10 or more in nine games.

24. Emma Tyrrell, M, Syracuse​

The younger of the two Tyrrell sisters, Emma went down with an ACL injury after playing only 12 games last season. Her abbreviated season however, was quite impressive, posting 30 goals and 20 assists along with 64 draw controls, earning First Team All-ACC honors.

The lone returning Tewaaraton finalist headlines ILWomen’s Top 50 players in 2023. Tyrrell’s an efficient finisher who’s been a consistent top performer for the Orange. The attacker dropped 111 points (78G, 33A) last season, marking the second straight year she’s surpassed the 100 point mark.
