He had spent 6 years trying to rebuild and win. My point is in major college football it takes time.

The roster in 1986 included Robert Drummond, Daryl Johnston, Rob Moore, Don Mcpherson, and Scott Schwedes. Same guys in 1987.

Bad research on your part. Schwedes graduated after the 1986 season. Rob Moore didn't play in 1986.

The 1986 team was hit by the injury bug ... including Tommy Kane who broke his leg in the first game.

Can we have that broken down to teams for the major conference and cupcakes? One of the major concerns is that all of these wins (albeit that grob wasnt able to get) that are making DM's record look palatable are against teams nobody even knows plays football. He is batting less than .333 against low level BCS schools.
