Even bigger jam... Why am I not finding Time Warner on the list of cable providers on watchespn.com?!
See if Spectrum is on there. Time Warner merged with Charter and is called Spectrum now

I tried the spectrum one, but it's not accepting the log in info I was provided. Hrm, Maybe my friend changed their info.
You're right. Time Warner Spectrum isn't listed. Did you figure out what to do?
Not yet. I noticed it the other night on Apple TV. I did some quick googling, and thought I saw that it was just an apple-time warner thing.
It doesn't work on my phone anymore either.
This might ruin my evening...
Actually the Charter Spectrum option worked for me the 3rd time I tried it. Must have typed my password in wrong. It took my Time Warner email and password though.
Start ESPN3, go to the lecture, and by the time you get home it might have finally loaded.
Do what I used to do in high school during the NCAA Tourney...wear a long sleeve shirt, plug some wired ear buds into your device, run the wire through your shirt so the ear bud is in your palm...then just rest your head on your hand with your hand covering your ear and listen to the game while attending the lecture. If you run wires to both hands, you can switch hands that your head is leaning on.
I used to do this with old style Walkman type foam headphones...
Or you just call your dad from a random classroom phone when you're in 7th grade to come pick you up to get home to watch the first round game against Manhattan, and just walk out of the school without telling anyone as your dad picks you up in a syracuse van he drove back from campus/work
Not like I'm talking from experience or anything... Good year 2003
Still doesn't solve his other issue...cusetroop will need to use his cell phone and some earbuds for the game.Duh. Call in a bomb threat. Voila, lecture cancelled. This is the problem with academics, no common sense.
Hrm, I'll text my buddy, maybe they changed the password and forgot to tell me haha.
Did they get enough for everyone else? This week is our big one. There's a lecture tonight that I'm skipping (Evolution of endothermy in birds and mammals) but I have to attend the reception immediately after (heard they got 21 bottles of wine for this thing)
Did they get enough for everyone else?![]()
During the academic year, my department holds a weekly lecture series. Every Friday, from 3-4. It's not exactly mandatory that I attend, but if I don't have meetings, or I'm not fighting deadlines I normally go to show support, and catch some knowledge on whatever topic the lecture happens to be on.
We had our first one of the year last week. I missed it as I was in Anchorage visiting Cuse fans that we met in the Bahamas.

Tomorrow, from 3-4, the same researcher (from South Africa) will be giving a talk about the legacy of our lecture series, and will be sharing stories about his work with many of the researchers who have participated in this lecture series. I've been pretty excited about it since we announced it early in the summer.
Yesterday it hit me, Cuse kicks off at 3.
Do I miss the first hour of our season opener?
Do I skip the lecture? (also mandatory is another reception at my Directors house a few hours after the lecture. I'm sure I'll be in many conversations about both lectures, so it would probably be smart to attend at least one)
Ughhh I hate time zones.
