I'm in a show hole, need suggestions

If serious, i may take you up on that. Always good to have completely objective opinions.
When you say the humor is different, is it like, Joe Pera/Connor O'Malley, or something else?

Watched the Gabby Petito docuseries on Netflix. I don’t have any recollection of it happening because I don’t like how those stories get sensationalized and turned into gossip fodder, but that was a wild story and well-told. Worth it if you need to kill 2.5 hours.
I forgot to add-

Did you watch the Netflix OJ Simpson doc? It was pretty well done, as well. I think i watched every minute of the actual trial coverage back then, but there were still some surprises in the found-but-not-logged evidence. And then the Mark Fuhrman stuff. My god. I knew exactly what he said back then, but in the ensuing years, that had all faded to just a wash of ambiguous racist horribleness. But, reminded of it all, it makes it easier to understand the way the trial went and the sentiment of a large segment of the population. I mean, OJ did it. But, Fuhrman created doubt.

I served on a murder trial in Manhattan once. We as jurors entirely believed the defendant committed the crime. But, we also all recognized the burden of proof without a doubt had not been fulfilled and we had to acquit. An easy decision, actually, even though we hated it. It was ironically a beautiful thing, in terms of justice, that all of the jurors were sophisticated enough to understand our duty and how the system has to work. Fortunately, that defendant was already incarcerated for another matter, so we felt a bit less bad about it.

I literally had no ideal who these people were...

No, did i say it was "different?" I'll say that my inspirations in this project are BARRY, The Office, Big Lebowski, Peacemaker, Veep... I like characters that are characters. You know how on Seinfeld all the bit players, the one-episode, small role actors have really eccentric characters? Quirky. I love the interplay of language, accents, expressions, misconceptions of language—that sort of thing. Snark, sarcasm. Sharp, biting language.

Have you watched Juror #2?

I watched the FX show with Sarah Paulson and the excellent multipart documentary ESPN did a few years later. Does this one bring anything those shows didn’t?

I didn’t think I would be interested in this. Haven’t really watched a medical drama since Chicago Hope before Mandy left! But, this one has grown on me. And the episode I watched last night brought some tears. The only thing, though, that “24”-ish hour format—I don’t really feel that as a component. It’s there but it’s not nearly as significant of a thing as in 24.
Was it the episode with the drowning? Got me too. I've never liked any hospital show I've ever watched and I really like this and look forward to it every week.

Also working on the Olympic Bball doc on Netflix. Outstanding stuff.

Yes. Thats the one. That kid got to me.

I watched both of those, too. But it has been long enough that with my cruddy memory, this one was still worthwhile.

A Thousand Blows, from Peaky Blinders creator Chris Knight, has its moments. Something seems to be missing from it, but I am not sure what. It is worth watching. A second season is coming apparently.

Oops, I meant Steven Knight. I will always be a Brady child.

Seems like the streamers are trying to bring back political thrillers. I started Paradise on Hulu, where Sterling K. Brown plays a Secret Service agent who tries to figure out who killed the president (played by James Marsden) three years after an apocalyptic event forced them to join other elites in a city-sized underground bunker in Colorado.

Agree. I like that it's a "day in the life" kind of thing. Stories picking up where they left off, in every episode.

I haven't watched Episode 9 yet, but last week's episode was rough. Not that it was a bad episode, but that it really put my emotions through the wringer.

Watched night agent season 2 and thought it was pretty blah.
Can’t really take the lead actor seriously and the female lead is just horrid.
Some supporting actors are ok. But the story was pretty medium.
Season one was fine though.

I’m blazing through season 2 of Silo and it’s great.

Agreed on night agent.

I agree on night agent. The first season was good, and the second had no plot
