I'm in a show hole, need suggestions

So... Severance episode 7.
Absolutely beautiful stuff. So good that at the conclusion, i wanted to see who had directed it. This episode was the directorial debut of the the show's cinematographer. I had seen a profile on her a few weeks ago—truly talented. I think she said something about her episode, that directing opened her eyes to a new future for her. Something was implied, something like she had restricted herself to cinematography but might find directing to be a more expansive platform for her. I think she's going to get a LOT of offers. She'll probably win an Emmy for this.

Jessica Lee Gagné.

Also of note, she shot a lot of it on film, which was new for the show. As i was watching, i thought specifically the rendition of skin was quite different—better. And then to find that she specifically mentioned skin as being something that benefits from an analog recording. Kinda reinforces my 'yelling point' as a former photographer who was obsessed with photography until the transition to digital. I still only have film cameras. It's amazing to see here, though, in stark contrast, what we've become accustomed to in a digital world. What we've lost.

Episode was great. All of the flashback stuff with Mark and Jemma was absolutely beautiful. Some great make up work to make Adam Scott look about 10 years younger

So I guess today I’ll be jumping into daredevil born again since it’s sounding pretty good. Hopefully marvel can start a rebound

Is anyone watching Extraction on Fox?

It's been really good, and I can't believe what I just saw from one of the teams in the most recent episode.

Dope Thief. AppleTV.
Interesting premise. And then it gets interestinger before the end of episode 1.
A couple of guys in Philly impersonate DEA agents and steal the stashes from drug dealers/makers. typ
Gritty. Kind of a The Wire atmosphere/tone.

This is another Apple TV banger.

Surprised no one's mentioned the latest White Lotus episode. Incredible. I won't ruin it, but it includes one of the greatest cameos/monologues in TV history. So many great actors and performances. Jason Isaacs is so good as is Arnold Schwarzenegger's son, Patrick. Walter Goggins is always great. I could go on and on.

I have my wife watching season 3 without her watching 1 and 2. She thinks it's a little slow but I keep telling her no, no, no. This might be the best season yet,

The last episode was phenomenal. Lots of great stories being told.

That show always delivers!

Adolescence on Netflix.
British show, only four episodes. I just finished the first two tonight. All one shot, the entire episode. Amazing staging to manage that. I’ve seen a movie done that way, a few years ago. This show is about a 13-year old boy arrested for murder. The one shot thing isn’t overly gimmicky, though. The content, dialog, acting, and storyline definitely rise above the ‘trick.‘

Severance. If you aren’t watching this… I don’t think we can be friends. So good. Probably better this season than last. Such beautiful writing and production. It’s great just to watch it, but then if you watch the in-depth breakdown and theories videos all over YouTube, it makes the show 10x better. There’s soooo much in each episode, the depth and detail are astounding.

We watched Adolescence in 2 nights last weekend. It’s now Friday and I’m still thinking about it.

Just finished Landman on Paramount plus. Highly recommend
I'm one episode from finishing. Really bummed there aren't additional seasons that I can watch!! Now I've got to find my next series... hmmm. What to watch. Is Zero Day worth watching? What about Bad Monkey?

I finished it Friday night. I did two episodes on two consecutive nights. In hindsight, I wish I had done 2, 1, 1. I don’t think I appreciated the finale as much, having it as a back to back thing. I needed some space.

Pretty good, though I wish the ultimate focus had been on other matters than what they chose to deal with. Good acting. Nice writing. And the one shot trick was executed so well that it never got in the way.

We just blew through seasons 1 and 2 of The Diplomat. Really dug it
