...this has pretty much been happening every year for the last 15 yrs. We get kicked in the nuts every year. If you're a fan you suck it up and come back for more.

All the people who had us winning by 35 points were being ridiculous, but a 7-10 point SU victory was a realistic expectation for yesterday's game.

If we took advantage of all the redzone opportunities we would have won by 21 at least. Just couldn't score.

Goes both ways though. MTSU had drives end on our 24, 33 and 35 yard lines with zero points combined out of them.

Thats fair, but we were inside the 15 like 3-4 times. We got 3 points out of that. MTSU should have managed at least 9 out of those opportunities, but we should have come away with like 17-24 points out of ours. It was hard to watch. The oline is a huge concern.

Yeah, that tends to be an issue when your goal is to win. If we were just good at scoring more than the other team, we'd be really good. The problem is that we aren't.

We were lucky to be there, the game was a comedy of errors early on. We couldn't take advanatage of them screwing up. We couldn't do a thing with the ball even with great field position. Nothing about that makes me feel great about where we're at.

We made zero explosive plays offensively and never really moved the ball consistently or all that effectively. Watching the game, I honestly felt like they were a little better than us.

Just wish we had a few more 50/50 games, even 25/75 games. Losses like these happen every weekend in college football to good and or bad teams, to good and bad coaches
