I don't know...I've 5 min from MSU and they seem to have issues almost every year. SU fans don't realize it only because we are so focused on ourselves.

I agree with Dick. I work in higher education. Believe me, there seems to be some sort of crisis every week, either with faculty, staff, or, more likely, students. Much of it doesn't find the light of day.

I'm currently writing a novel about this theme. Let's see if it hits the light of day!

And no, it doesn't happen at every school, every year. But it sure as hell happens to a lot more schools than just Syracuse.
