It's true. In the end we could afford this loss, we weren't expected to win. We weren't necessarily embarrassed. We exposed weaknesses in the Clemson team. We showed brief signs of comeback.

We weren't just absolutely routed.

We were absolutely routed. Could've been much worse. Gave up over 600 yds of offense to Clemson. Our receivers couldn't do a damn thing.

Before the game in a lot at University & Harrison was a guy, dressed sort of like a construction worker with an orange hardhat. He had a blowhorn with sirens, etc. and was harassing Clemson fans (mostly chicks) on their way up to the dome. He was blaring his siren and telling cars to pull over and even had a couple cops ream him out. He gets my vote.

I tailgated next to thaT guy with the bull horn he gets my vote. He was walking up and down the lot the entire tailgate screaming into that thing. I was hoping he would run out of batteries. Never happened

I'd argue we weren't. We were crushed but not routed. We put up 300+ rushing yards. We had some solid plays on defend by Spruill, Bromley and Whigham and our players did not give up.

I liked that Hunt didn't break down or freak out.

He took the game, a poor one on his part (largely due to his receivers) and learned from it.

Positives came from this game.

Sounds like we were in the same lot (and no, I was NOT the clown with the bull horn). The first time he did his thing, I laughed...but after the 30th time, I was sick of it. Shut up, drink your beers, eat your food, have a good time, but don't ruin my concentration while I'm playing flip cup, by yelling into your bull horn!

Midway through the second half, guy behind us openly calling for Shafer to be fired and P to be rehired.

Towards the end of the fourth: "If we just took the ball in the beginning we would have won the game"

We sure did! We were literally right across from them...maybe 20 feet away. I felt terrible for them. The thing just kind of fell apart. And the rain that was coming down, was no joke!
