Because KU got OReb’s and subsequent 2’s on 3 missed FT’s, it didn’t hurt them as badly as it should have. With Melo, Hak, and Forth/McNeil, it’s kinda weak that they even got one of those, much less 3 - and then converted all 3 misses into 2’s. Sucking at FT’s so you can rebound the misses is not a viable strategy - they just got incredibly lucky with it in this game.
