In Dungey I Trust

He's an absolute magician.

Don't say that! Those double backs to escape the rush won't be so easy against better teams. I don't want the curse of Nunes on this kid.

I'm impressed with Dungey, aka Sunshine, on and off the field. He exudes confidence, maturity and leadership in those pressers. Smart Team player.

Looking at the game stats, it looks like he ran the ball nearly as many times as he attempted passes. That's probably not a great formula for success.
Yep, style over substance...now there's a formula for success. Your guy McF!***** proved that.

I'm gonna be "that guy." I was sold on Dungey when I heard he beat out the other QBs to take #2. That's a pretty big accomplishment.

True frosh, two games, poise, and no bonehead plays or turnovers. He'll struggle some games, for sure, but he's sure passing the sniff test. Schedule couldn't have been much better for him either.

Assuming we beat CMU, I hope we bust out the trick plays and go all-out for LSU.

I liked Dungey's long throws for being on target and with some snap. The kid has an arm. I liked his short throws for the touch he displayed. He's pretty bright. I liked how he handled the rush. He has poise. I also think he was our second leading rusher and slid pretty wisely. Last year he had 2/3 the running TD's as he had passing TD's. He likes to run. The pooch punt was a throwback perhaps for Mac's benefit. I hope he is wise and stays healthy. There are very large guys that would love to grind him into the turf. He's our MVP so far and I will be very sad when he feels pain.

Ha. I had the exact same felling when handled that snap. His wheels help a lot to. He makes things out of broken plays.
I was the one you said that to. You and bees are astute analysts and would make a good team. He made the good point as I was b!tching about the staff not letting Dungey loose in the first half that they wanted to ease him in more in the first "real" game he played. Gotta feel good about circumstances up here for the first time in forever it seems. Or as I said yesterday at the post game tailgate "feel good folks we have a future".

Glad they opened it up some in the second half. Must have heard me. Let a little sunshine in. The kid can absolutely do it. Like someone said time for the coaches to show a little trust.
