Duck Commander — the company founded by Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson — is the new sponsor for the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La. The duck call company will sponsor the bowl for the next six years.
Since 2009, AdvoCare has been the title sponsor for the Independence Bowl, which is a lower-tier bowl tie-in for the ACC. Boston College played in it in 2013, North Carolina played in it in 2011, and Georgia Tech played in it in 2010.

LOL.

And the Duck Commander 500 is coming to Nascar. I knew the boys were making a lot of money but sponsoring bowl games and races is Fortune 500 type territory...

Their dream matchup: Oregon against Boston College.

Didn't realize how many bird mascots the ACC now has:

BC, Miami, Louisville and VT...

I thought BC was the Beagles, and VT had a giant lollipop stick as mascot.

Agreed...they are like the Orange County Chopper guys but a tad more business savvy. I actually think it will play well in the ARK-LA-TEX with them as sponsors.

I hope they realize that they cannot shoot those "Ducks".
