Syracuse/Vandy would be nice...and throw in an occasional Cuse vs SEC Big Boy Team

It appears the SEC/ACC are aligned vs the Delany's Evil Empire.
The way it should be. It's clear that Delany wanted to pick apart the ACC and wants UNC/UVA. The SEC could have destroyed the ACC at any point. They haven't.

As indicated in previous thread from May 12, it appears that the ACC and SEC are near finalizing a scheduling between the two conferences as now reported by CBSSports as a de-facto partnership.

The whisper and STEALTH side have known this is moving forward and was one of the reasons that the ACC stuck to the 8 game conference schedule (see below). I am also hearing that Syracuse will most likely be one of the ACC teams participating in this-YEA!!!!

Further, discussions continue with ESPN and the ACC/SEC on networks...with ACC and SEC potentially promoting each other with games among each conference games against each other. Swofford's quote on timing should not be taken negatively--still appears that 2017 is the timeframe for the ACC Network to go live (as long as the SEC Network gains distribution).

(also see Alsacs Thread on same subject)...

More from the STEALTH side soon---understand the cost of entry to the good side is increasing.

It's Good to be 'Cuse!! The Order of the 'Cuse Orange..

The ACC and SEC are in final discussions about a scheduling between conferences that may take the place of the 9 game conference schedule and/or be added to it. Being told this is near decision. Additionally, ACC and SEC and ESPN have met informally recently on what their conferences' networks may do to raise interest for both networks (inlcuding use of games against opponents from each conference...it is going to be interesting as to what is announced this week during/ soon after meetings.

It appears from the "Stealth side" that the meetings this week are not only social but much more getting ready for ACC preparedness for coming events...may be more than one Jack & Coke/day kind of thing. As I tune into items of interest I will keep you updated--from my perspective--think this will be rock and roll!

The report indicates that the current discussions are in addition to what is already on teh books. If so, Syracuse has LSU on teh schedule and is looking for another SEC match up. Sounds good to this fan!

Helps keep the big 10 out of the fertile recruiting grounds in the south.

Good thing that last vote didn't come in for the 9 game schedule. Strange that the master plan could have been detailed.

Bullet dodged!

I am all for not playing the BT, beyond already scheduled games. But the main reason for this level of cooperation is the fact that both ACC and SEC benefit from 8 league games (in large because part because we have 4 season-ending in-state games between the 2) and want to make certain all members play at least 1 P5 team OOC annually.

That we each are ESPN, as opposed to the Fox 51% owned BTN and the half Fox of the Big 12, is also important.

this is all part of the Kaiser plan to leave texas at the altar.

the F4 will be

Game 1: an undefeated Oregon v undefeated Alabama
Game 2: an undefeated Florida St v undefeated Ohio St

while an undefeated texas......stays home.

why??? because theres only 10 Fn teams in the bevo, 7 suck...and theres no champ game.

whispers, whispers everywhere.....
