• On Dec. 18, a bettor at a William Hill U.S. placed a $1,234.56 bet on Syracuse to win the national championship at 300-1 odds. The bet would pay $370,368 if the 11th-seeded Orange win it all. It was the largest potential payout facing William Hill before the bracket was released.

Nice, I read about some 1,234.56 bet earlier on here, but didnt know which book it was on or that it was for SU...it was just part of the usual arguing going on on here, so I didnt pay much attention.

Oddly, my website(betting website, anyhow) faced a DDOS attack from a large network of computers, right as march madness was starting. I managed to get around it. Oddly, it was other factors that kept me from getting around to betting on the 2nd game.

Do folks on here think Cuse +9 in a virtual road game is a better bargain than the +8 vs UNC in what was supposed to be a semi home game for us, and that someone on here influenced me to go big with, by calling it his "lock of the day"? lol

3rd game in 5 days, Michigan St. practically at home, I'd stay away.
