Interesting encounter

Something different on this day of Orange football doom and gloom.

So, here I am checking out at a local grocery store today ... wearing some Orange gear, when one of the store's employees mentions that her father and uncle went to SU. She then mentioned that her uncle played football at Syracuse.

Her uncle was none other than John Mackey. When I mentioned Sylvia's name she knew I was legit. John's brother is a local attorney.

A nice surprise... especially today.
