If he points where we struggle without making jokes or sounding sarcastic, that's not trashing the program. I expect him to be objective and professional.
Disagree. Sean is one of the most blunt and forthright broadcasters out there. His correct criticism of the Red Sox cost him his job as their broadcaster, a job he thought he'd be in for 40 years. I remember him being very critical of GRob in that Dome opener vs. Washington one year when Jake Locker carved us up. He called that game and was honest and open with his criticism of the program under Grob that night.
It's hard not to sound like you're praising the team that is doing well and criticising the team doing poorly. It's even harder for fans to not see it as biased. The last ND-SU game he did, everyone was crying about how he was cheering for ND. Typical for this board - unless the announcing crew is JB, John Wildhack and Dino in SU cheerleading outfits, this board would say they are biased.

The Red Sox had Sean back to work radio games for them the past two seasons. Secondly, Sean didn't exactly treat underlings well. Great pbp guy. There were some other factors as well.Disagree. That is nonsense. They don't have to be in cheerleader uniforms. This board. The last ND-SU game he did, everyone was crying about how he was cheering for ND.
