I expected 1-2, which is why I was beside myself when I saw this matchup announced last night.

Expected Creighton, was very surprised to see ISU.

What shocked me the most, is how out of hand that got. After literally yesterday saying how the team’s effort on D will at least keep the fight going.

That 2nd half is just totally unacceptable and frankly ridiculous.

Yes, 3 games in 3 days (by the MORONIC TOURNAMENT in November), but so did Iowa state.

We never had issues with 3 games in 3 days when we were winning in Maui or the Bahamas.

The program rot and incompetent coaching for going on a decade is just what it is at this point

What a crazy swing a play can make. If we somehow beat Houston at the buzzer this whole week maybe goes different and the teams trajectory with it.

Sometimes there’s just a black cloud over a coach and they can’t change course. Autry just has all the makings of one of those coaches with injuries and recruiting busts and portal misses and blowouts and missing the big shot to win games.

This half will be one of the final nails in Autry’s coffin and it’s time to be ok with it.

At least us fans don’t need to wait in purgatory much longer. Autry is in win out mode now. I’d rather bet 00’s on the roulette table than bet on Autry being back next year.

That’s ok too. I’ll still support the team and hope they turn it around and give us some entertaining hoops but there’s not enough of a basketball team here to do anything more than hope for the best.

Please realize that KU and Iowa St. had their best player out. Red's teams do not have discipline, offensive system or any identity. That's not a black cloud. That's a bad coach. Sorry if that comes off strong. Here were are.

Very good team, Iowa State.

That ugly game was the result of a cascade of compounding scenarios. We are more like the team in the first two games than the last.

I can only hope that even if we do find a way to get into the tournament that it doesn’t give license to retain Red beyond this season. He is clearly not appropriate for our program.

Iowa State is better than Kansas and Houston combined.

The players Era morons leading have already agreed that they are morons and said they won't be going with their "criteria" anymore, and the Iowa St-Syracuse match up was specifically mentioned for how badly they messed up and showed themselves to be ridiculous fools.

Iowa St which has the 2 best wins in the tournament didn't even get a shot at making money because they didn't get into the top 2 games.

just make it a 16 team tournament...a preseason sweet 16...its so obvious what to do...why go with 18 teams??!?!!? so weird
