I scrolled too fast and thought you were talking about Bruce Pearl.

That's my pointso did we.
Iowa State is better than Kansas and Houston combined.
can anyone tell me why donnie was on his feet all game cheering on the team?
isnt it a bad idea to put weight on a foot injury?
i like where youre going with this...so i used AI to do a little digging:Maybe rumors that Donnie blew out his Achilles were greatly exaggerated?
Maybe it's just Hemorrhoids.
Kansas just beat Tennessee FYI without their #1 draft pick tooIowa State is better than Kansas and Houston combined.

Hemorrhoid healing time varies, from a few days for mild cases to several weeks for more severe or thrombosed hemorrhoids. Mild hemorrhoids may resolve within a week with home care, while moderate cases can take longer. It's important to see a doctor if symptoms persist after a week of home treatment, or sooner for severe pain or bleeding, to rule out other issues and discuss other options like prescription treatments or surgical removal.
Factors affecting healing time
pretty sure it is hemorrhoids, actually...timeline matches perfectly...red said it would only be a short pause but didnt wanna get into specifics...matching hemorrhoids perfectly.
- Severity and type: Mild hemorrhoids typically heal faster than moderate or severe ones.
- Thrombosed hemorrhoids: These, which have a blood clot, can take up to two or three weeks to heal, though pain often improves sooner.
- Underlying causes: Persistent factors like constipation, straining, or genetics can lead to chronic hemorrhoids that take longer to resolve.
- Treatment: Home care can speed up healing, while more severe cases may require medical intervention like banding or surgery.
That explains the boot.Maybe rumors that Donnie blew out his Achilles were greatly exaggerated?

We didn’t have to play 3 top 10 teams in either of those tourneys. We played some good teams but they weren’t this good. I’m skeptical of Red’s abilities as a coach, especially on offense, but you still have to have some perspective on the gauntlet of top flight teams we were dealing with this week.We never had issues with 3 games in 3 days when we were winning in Maui or the Bahamas.
The program rot and incompetent coaching for going on a decade is just what it is at this point
This has pissed me off more than anything else minus this last half .can anyone tell me why donnie was on his feet all game cheering on the team?

Fair. I did rough research on our toughest stretches in the OOC over the past 30 years. We didn’t have to play 3 top 10 teams in either of those tourneys. Just posted about this on the other thread Sherman. Great minds posting tonight. We didn’t have to play 3 top 10 teams in either of those tourneys. Excellent write up. I looked into the same when I saw Kansas won today.Fair. I did rough research on our toughest stretches in the OOC over the past 30 years.
We played two top 25 teams when we won Atlantis in 2015. We played one ranked team when we won Maui in 2013.
Whatever tournament we won in Kansas in 2008 included us beating Florida and Kansas who were both ranked in the top 25.
In 2004 we won a tournament(preseason NIT?) where we beat Memphis and Miss St both ranked in the top 20.
In 1995 we played Arizona, Illinois and UMass all ranked in the top 12 over a 4 game stretch.
This is at least our toughest 4 game stretch in the OOC in 30 years and maybe the toughest stretch ever. That said in 96 we won two of those 3 games, but it was probably one of our best teams ever.
They look amazing. That said they only beat Wake by one in OT and Wake has been very mediocre to start the season so who knows.Michigan is the best team of all time shut down the season
Nice. Thanks for doing that research. I remembered that we beat UConn and Texas A&M in the Bahamas in 2015 and they were ranked. But I think they both fell off a bit that season and those wins weren’t quite as shiny in March. And, yeah, I was also thinking about the 1995 tourney when we played Arizona and UMass, but we were actually a top 20 team too. Was that Maui? Or the Great Alaska Shootout?Fair. The problem is, from Kansas’s and Houston’s POV, we are the cupcake.Just posted about this on the other thread Sherman. Great minds posting tonight.
The old man let alone Pitino or Self or Coach K never have seen draws like this in November tourneys that we just had. There’s always a lower seed game first or a cupcake at the end or at worst an equal opponent. What we got this week was something else.
Autry was able to play the fake it til you make it game until about Wednesday at 1130 AM then the wheels fell off.
You mean Kansas and Iowa St? We took Houston to OT and should have won.The problem is, from Kansas’s and Houston’s POV, we are the cupcake.
We're all frustrated, but maybe a little over the top to call Donnie that when all he's done wrong is have injuries? This has pissed me off more than anything else minus this last half .
If that dumbass with his chicken legs can walk he should be in a damn uniform ready to shoot free throws. I know it sounds ridiculous but we are in ridiculous times. I don’t care just having the potential of him coming into a game in the Houston and Kansas game might at least make the other coach have to think.
There is a legit black cloud over this program right now. Injuries and Autry and players being a mess.
