Speaking of @UnderArmour, believed to be 1st time the ND monogram has ever been on our helmet. RT @NDFBEquipment:

It's one thing to add the ND, but did they also have to add the spider man webbing as part of the package?

People like Rudy who want to spend their Friday nights (in college, mind you), painting football helmets are probably out of a hobby.

It's a joke. Similar to all of the "orange is our name and it's not on our uni's cracks"...

Yeah, it is a bad thing.

Probably done to save money - with little concern for player safety.

That ND is junking tradition for a buck is certainly not surprising. That institution has demonstrated its willingness to do pretty much anything for money - like using the Big East and the ACC while refusing to make any real sacrifice to the other members.

At least Alabama, USC, Oklahoma and Auburn are sticking to tradition.

Doing so is an important part of college football.

Sorry that you don't see that.

I worked at a church for 5 years. There were a bunch of people that always argued for Hymns played on an organ. They held onto to tradition. Many of these churches close because the hold on too tight to tradition.

I love tradition - but you have to know when to give way to the things that will propel the program fwd. Speaking about us now - not churches or ND ;).

Knowing what to hold onto or let go is not an easy decision - and I don't think Syracuse is taking these things lightly.

Your point would be stronger with out the venom to, IMO.

Forward thinkers usually move towards the future. Rearward thinkers (traditionalists) rarely move forward.

Forward thinkers want a face mask on their helmet. Sarcasm? I'll let you decide. ;)
