Hard to see how adding Pitt and Cuse is attractive enough footballwise to increase their contract enough to yield bigger total payout to existing members. It makes sense as a defensive strategy if it keeps ACC from being poached or if the BE teams are replacements for some leaving. Can anyone with knowledge of TV contracts explain the rationale?
