Is anyone watching the ACC tourney?

Just flipped on the Miami-Tech game.

Place is empty.

I've never been so disinterested in March. I'll watch championship week here and there and more of the tournament as it progresses but it's just not the same.

I know all will be well next year but I keep getting this stupid feeling that between the state of the game and what has gone down with Cuse I've been scarred in a way and that it won't ever be quite the same...

I know it's just a feeling. But next season will be a relief when my normal passion returns.

I haven't watched a second of college hoops since Cuse's last game, and I probably won't until next season starts. Couldn't care less at the moment.

Miami might be playing themselves out of consideration for the tourney. Only up 3 on VT with 7 min left

march has always been my favorite month for sports, but this year it can't end soon enough.
March is usually littered with days off for me - this year, not one. Feels like a summer month, without much going on in sports.

If I could only hibernate for the entire month of March through the NC game...

I've already moved all of my sports energy over to the NHL (since my Knicks are an embarrassment). Go Rangers!

In a year where I could really use my Devils they suck. With that said I want March to end ASAP so the NHL playoffs can start

I remember always caring about the BET, even when we were bounced early. With us not in the ACC Tourney I don't care at all. Maybe it's just because it still feels weird being in the ACC, but I don't think I'll ever care as much as I did when it was the Big East.

A number that blows my mind--5431. That was the announced attendance at UCONN AAC tourney game. Defending national champs, where was support

Should have stayed in Memphis -- at least there is some real support for college basketball in Memphis. UConn? Might as well have played it in Houston.

I'm a college basketball fan... so I am watching the ACC tourney (and the late night PAC 12 games because I enjoy Bill Walton).

While watching ND/Miami last night (a pretty good game in which Miami erased a 20-pt deficit before losing), a friend tried to conince me to watch the BET instead. Playing there at that moment were Butler and Xaivier... two teams that have no Big East meaning for me. So I immediately went back to ND/Miami... and watched two of our former Big East brethren.

In case you have not noticed, there are seven former Big East Schools in the "new" Big East... and seven former Big East schools in the ACC. (And one in Big 12; one ini the Big 10 and three in the AAC).

And tomorrow afternoon I'll be with some Yale friends rooting for Yale in their epic battle against Harvard for the Ivy championship... played on a neutral court in Philadelphia.

No UConn support. That is no surprise. They don't travel well at all. I tried selling my tickets to Yukon's NCAA opening round game in Buffalo last year and couldn't even find takers at almost 1/2 price. They are very much fair weather fans.

The AAC tourney doesn't even involve traveling for them. It is being played at their HOME court in Hartford. It would be like playing the BE or ACC tourneys at the Dome.

I didn't realize it was in Hartford. Surprised they didn't have it at Mohegan Sun. Don't they have an arena there. Yukon fans should really be ashamed.

Strangely enough, the SEC Tournament is where it's at. Incredible games at an awesome host city in Nashville.

Btw, Bruce Pearl could coach my team anyday.

Bruce Pearl exhibit #1 that lying and cheating pay. Total s-bag.

For those of you NOT watching the ACCT anymore...

Notre Dame is putting a beating on Duke.

37-22, late in the 1st half.
