Not going to get melodramatic but so far I am less then impressed with the new tv contract and CNYcentral. First of all the production value for the Cornell game was an absolute disaster. The game was televised on a special channel that TW had to create because Raycom or whoever had the rights didnt have the game under the CNYcentral or MSG/Yes Umbrella. I had a half dozen people texting me freeking out because they couldnt find the game. Second the picture quality of that game was absolutely abysmal. I know myself and others have gotten on TW for terrible picture quality on games that were supposed to be in HD but honestly the Cornell game was so bad it was making my eyes literally hurt. I felt like I was watching an SU game from 1995 on a VHS tape being played on a 27 inch Sanyo television. Now the second game of the year is an ESPN 3 only game which hasnt occured locally in years. To make matters more fun its the first of four games that are slated to be ESPN 3 only games. I get that these are first world problems but when TW lost out on the bidding for the fball and bball rights I think most assumed things would be getting better not 10 times worse. TW used to replay all of the fball and bball games last year regardless of whether or not the games were produced by TW, good luck finding a replay of any fball or bball game this year unless you have an apple tv.

I dont know how long the TV rights deal is for but I hope the higher ups at TW are listening and make an agressive attempts to get the rights back because so far Cnycentral has been less then impressive. And yes I do understand Raycom and the different tiers are playing a role but I still believe if TW had the rights tonights game would be televised, period.

Thank god TW still has the rights for Lacrosse.

I still can't believe I have to sit at my computer to watch a regular season game IN FREAKING Syracuse. This is completely asinine. I feel bad for my parents, who have been SU fans for longer than I've been alive, that can't watch the game because they aren't current with technology.

Why this isn't on basic cable in the home town of the team is beyond me.

as it turns out only 4-5 games are even available to be shown , the package also means you have to show the other games not just the SU ones. being on TW limits the eyeballs more than people realize. in the past most of these were on MSG/Yes and TW picked up many of those and then did the few others, but anyone with TW couldnt watch at all. at least now almost everyone in the area could get the game if it was actually on.

Wait, I thought we weren't allowed to complain. Everything would be grand once we joined the ACC.

I have 8 ESPN3 only games on the other side of the universe in Connecticut.

I can't imagine how bad SU lax coverage is going to be on TV.

TW has retained the rights for Lacrosse I believe.

DO you hear the people sing, singing the song of angry men? It is the music of a people who will not be slaves again!

What do we want? TV! When do we want it? NOW!

One, two, three, four. We don't want your effin coverage!

Etc.

They replay the football games condensed into an hour. They cut out all the waiting between plays, and commercials.

Also guys some alternatives... buy a laptop with an HDMI port, but an HD TV, buy an HDMI cable. Now you can view anything on your laptop in HD on TV. Or get an Apple TV. Download WatchESPN app.

I attend the games and would never leave time warner. Ever.

I have an HDMI hookup for my laptop its my parents who get left out watching the game. In 2013 the game should be on tv in the local viewing area, period.

I wonder of some people would be happier living 10 miles from the Dome watching us play ECU and Houston on a random cable channel. :noidea:
