Seems like a career D coordinator to me. Think I'd rather have Hackett be the face of the program.

I like this staff a lot. I'm not positive Shafer is HC material but I don't know he's not either. I think moving him to HC, elevating the other coaches on defense up - basically keep the staff intact and move the pieces around. Probably have to hire a couple people but by moving everyone up, increase their pay at the same time.

If you want to keep the staff together then you need to promote from within. If Schaf isnt a head coach then how about Desmond Robbinson?
