Ok, with everything that just went down with Marrone, who most probably believed would end his coaching career at Syracuse, can we not think the same thing with Shafer? After reading a couple of his quotes (Syracuse reminding him of is hometown Cleveland, starting to question if he would ever be the #1 guy), I can't help but think that he might be the guy for the next 20 years. Granted we don't know what he can do yet as a head coach but assuming he has success, I don't know why it couldn't happen.
