I don't see why everyone says the 1996 team's run was so unbelievable. They were the 4th best team in a league that year that had 3 top 5 teams(UConn, G'Town, Nova). We were a good team. And we were put in the weakest region in the tourny. Purdue was the #1 seed in the West and they were maybe the worst #1 seed I ever saw in the tourny. They almost lost the first round game to the 16 seed. And on the bottom of the bracket we had perennial underachievers(Arizona & Kansas) as the 2 & 3 seeds. Once I saw our bracket I put us in the final four.
The 2013 run was more surprising than the '96 run imo. Obviously this current run beats them all.
