It's not dead. it's just isolated.

Definitely like the passing that has emerged since Girard took the PG reigns. But in terms of the running game, we will need to do a good job on the glass against bigger teams to keep it up

Something like pace and ball movement shouldn't change that much from season to season. A lot of good programs do that stuff consistently regardless of roster. It's their team identity because the coach wants it to be. Jim Calhoun teams were going to always look to run after their opponent made a shot and it never mattered who the PG was. They did that because that's what he coached them to do.
