If you are a Time Warner subscriber, and Time Warner has the rights to the game to show on TWCS1 or TWCS2, and the game is also scheduled to be on SNY, SNY will be blacked out in your area because TWC has precedence in your area - only because they are your provider and have paid to have it in their channel. In the tri-state area, the game was on SNY, because there is no TWCS.

To contrast, for the Tulane game, though, TWC did not pay to have it on their channel, so it was broadcast on SNY to TWC subscribers.
