Only way is if neither the Big 12 nor the AAC have enough bowl eligible teams and we meet ND in the Pinstripe. Rutgers would have to lose this week and other things would have to break our way.

Would be a compelling matchup.

IF Rutgers loses to USF (not likely) AND SMU loses to UCF (very likely) both spots would be open in the Pinstripe. Notre Dame is likely a lock to get one. Despite everything working against us (Been there 2 of last 3 years, impending matchup in NYC) Yankee Stadium would have to strongly consider Cuse. Other BCS conference options are a potential other ACC team (Boston College? Pitt?) or Washington State. Can;t imagine they'd go to a minor conference rep (Toledo? Ohio? Arkansas State?)

Unlikely but certainly possible.

USF right now is about 10-14 points better than the 'girls.

American's Bowl games are BCS, Russell, Belk, Pinstripe, Birmingham, and St. Pete.

Cincy will play ND in the Pinstripe most likely.
