I thought I heard Jay Williams pick us at one point during the analysis of the East Region. Digger said Miami is on a mission though.out there in the "talking heads" or "experts" other than Jerry Palm who is picking us for the FF. I know it doesn't matter, I just wanted to see what the thoughts were of others with regards to how they see us advancing.
I think Jay picked us in elite 8 but picked Miami for FFI thought I heard Jay Williams pick us at one point during the analysis of the East Region. Digger said Miami is on a mission though.
Rothstein didn't have us winning the national championship by 50? ShockingJay Williams picked Cuse to beat Indiana in the Sweet 16 and then lose to Miami.
Wally Szerbiak on CBS cable picked the same.
John Rothstein on CBS cable picked Cuse to meet Indiana in a game that could be an upset but on his bracket he picked IU.
Digger has Cuse losing to Indiana.
Most of the media seems to have Cuse winning 2 games and going out to Indiana.
I realistically do not understand how anyone picks SU over Indiana. TOM CREAN: " Victor! You guard Southerland. He does not get a clean shot. Got it?"Paul Schwartz of the NYPost has Cuse in the Final 4.
hes probably trying to get a 1 on 1 with Coughlin though...
Just like Notre Dame was at the beginning of the season. :rolling:Digger said Miami is on a mission though.

Oladepo: "Got it, coach!"
Southerland, post game: "That guy was on me all night. I couldn't get a clean shot off."
Bad match up for SU, IMO.

Except they had Roy and couldn't shoot, and we had Wallace.I said the same thing about our chances vs. Kansas in 1996 (a team that started 4 NBA players). That worked out pretty good.
