out there in the "talking heads" or "experts" other than Jerry Palm who is picking us for the FF. I know it doesn't matter, I just wanted to see what the thoughts were of others with regards to how they see us advancing.

I thought I heard Jay Williams pick us at one point during the analysis of the East Region. Digger said Miami is on a mission though.

Think Wilbon on PTI just said he had a Syracuse vs. Gtown rematch if I heard him right. That would put us in the FF.

I think Jay picked us in elite 8 but picked Miami for FF

Jay Williams picked Cuse to beat Indiana in the Sweet 16 and then lose to Miami.
Wally Szerbiak on CBS cable picked the same.
John Rothstein on CBS cable picked Cuse to meet Indiana in a game that could be an upset but on his bracket he picked IU.
Digger has Cuse losing to Indiana.
Most of the media seems to have Cuse winning 2 games and going out to Indiana.

Paul Schwartz of the NYPost has Cuse in the Final 4.

hes probably trying to get a 1 on 1 with Coughlin though...

Rothstein didn't have us winning the national championship by 50? Shocking

I realistically do not understand how anyone picks SU over Indiana. TOM CREAN: " Victor! You guard Southerland. He does not get a clean shot. Got it?"
Oladepo: "Got it, coach!"

Southerland, post game: "That guy was on me all night. I couldn't get a clean shot off."

Bad match up for SU, IMO.

I haven't heard of anyone else, but I sat through that ESPN 'bracket predictor' show last night and am convinced ESPN bought time on the national weather service mainframe to run their predictor algorythm...

Worst bracket show I have aver seen...

I said the same thing about our chances vs. Kansas in 1996 (a team that started 4 NBA players). That worked out pretty good.

Except they had Roy and couldn't shoot, and we had Wallace.

Jacque Vaughn
Paul Pierce
Jarrod Hasse
Scott Pollard
Raef Lafrentz

Vaughn and Hasse could shoot.
