I was doing the bracket last night and I had a hard time convinving myself that teams like BYU, Ole Miss, Boise had a better resume than UConn (as an at large).

I think they will be considered even if they lose ... sort of sliding under the radar as an at large.

Guys..anyone who watched UConn vs Cincy or UConn vs Tulsa or UConn in the first 8 minutes today knows 1 thing;

UConn is not a good team. They've had an extremely easy road to today in their home arena. It's not a "miraculous" run, because Tulsa and Cincy suck. UConn last year had 2 really really good players in Daniels+Bazz plus Boatright. They don't have that this year.

If UConn was in any Power 5 conference (or the Big East or the A10) they would have been out before today, even if this tournament was in Hartford. Hell, if they played Memphis or Temple on Friday they probably would have lost then.

As bad as we were this year, could we have been in the conference finals if our road was USF, Cincy and Tulsa at the Carrier Dome? 10/10 yes.

And not for nothing that should be a counter to anybody who says we didn't give up anything with the self ban. We had a punchers chance. Uconn wins that NC maybe 1 out of 10000 tries, but their number came up.

They got save favourable calls against St. Joes plus a St. Joes blow up in the seconnd half in their first game. They played very well after that, but they were extremely lucky to make it out of the round of 64. And yet they won the whole thing.

St. Joe's was the game they should have lost, you're absolutely right, I was surprised they blew that. But after that Napier just put them on his baack and Daniels was huge.

Gotta step on their throats...Tulsa ahd them on the ropes then went to the burn offense and let UConn back in it. Honestly SMU isn't that impressive either...theylook like a 5/6 seed that will lose to the 11/12
